Client: Brandon and Goshen, VT
Project Span: 2018-2019
Project Overview:
EIV provided public relations, office engineering and construction inspection services for this $10.5M, 7.5 mile stretch of roadway along Vermont Route 73 in the towns of Brandon and Goshen, VT. Route 73 goes through the Brandon Gap, a destination location for hikers, cyclists, bus tours and various tourist groups throughout the year. Part of the nationally known “Gap Rides”, cyclists from across the nation ride Route 73 throughout the summer and fall seasons. These factors required outreach to be both thorough and dynamic.
Outreach services identified stakeholders directly affected by this project and disseminated effective, accurate and consistent information in regard to project progress. Extended outreach was accomplished through consistent and effective communication of the scope and progress of this project to cycling organizations and tour groups regionally.
