Project Overview:
Located on a 1.7 mile stretch of Main St. (VT-Route 2) in downtown Waterbury, Vermont, this project includes total roadway reconstruction, ductile iron public water supply, a gravity-fed sewer system, stormwater system, underground power and utilities, sidewalks, granite curb, pavement, and parking spaces.
EIV is providing construction inspection services on this project which has presented some challenges throughout construction, including utility conflicts and re-routing of proposed utilities. EIV has ensured that all elements of this project are being conducted safely and effectively, and that construction items are installed to the proper specifications. A Topcon GPS rover is being utilized throughout this project to assist in inspection duties.
