Richmond Route 2 Roadway Reclaim

Client: Richmond, VT
Project Span: 2022-2023

This $20M roadway reconstruction project along an 8.2-mile segment of Route 2 between Richmond and Bolton, VT includes coarse-milling, concrete subsurface slab removal, repaving, guardrail, drainage improvements, culvert replacements, and traffic signal improvements.

EIV staff is providing construction inspection and office engineering services. Key responsibilities during the 2022 season included quality assurance for layout, grades, and inverts. Other responsibilities included field inspection of underdrain, stone armoring, ledge removal, and EPSC plan implementation. Utilization of Bluebeam enabled staff to complete efficient and accurate complex volume calculations.
