EIV is providing environmental permitting and compliance oversight for the North Concourse replacement project. Approximately 20,000 square feet of existing concourse-level has been demolished and is being replaced with a three-level building, which includes a concourse level for passengers and a public outdoor viewing area. EIV worked as part of a design-build team to provide quality assurance design reviews, secure local and state environmental permits, and is assisting with EPSC specialist stormwater inspections.

EIV provided the chief inspector on this three-year, $25.5M full bridge replacement located in Hartford, VT. Project elements included replacement of the existing bridge on a new alignment, grading and shaping of VT Route 14 to accommodate the approach for new alignment of the bridge as well as sewer, drainage, water and sidewalk upgrades.

EIV is providing project management, resident engineering, and construction inspection on this three-block, $27M city infrastructure and streetscape project located in downtown Burlington, VT. Project elements include new water and wastewater lines, underground utilities, sidewalks and curbing, signage, paving and striping and various streetscape elements. This project also includes the installation of a new 48” sewer line to take the old ravine sewer offline.

EIV provided environmental oversight and construction inspection, office engineering and public outreach services on this $10M railroad crossing, rail improvement and bike path project along the Waterfront in Burlington. Environmental oversight included the monitoring, tracking and proper handling of soils throughout the project area for all operations. A thorough review and understanding of the Soils Management Plan was essential.

This project will make improvements to VELCO’s existing St. Johnsbury substation. The improvements include the installation of new circuit breakers, construction of a new control building with new protection relays and controls, and an expanded substation footprint with new fencing. EIV is providing environmental oversight, performing multiple onsite inspections per week, ensuring compliance with all permitting and EPSC plans.

Located in downtown Burlington, Vermont, this infill development was designed to align with the surrounding neighborhood context. The site is approximately one and a half blocks from the waterfront and Church Street and is adjacent to several restaurants and cafés in the area.
