Jericho Signal

EIV provided outreach services for this $1.7M project located in the town of Jericho, VT at the intersection of Route 15 and Browns Trace. Road reclamation and widening along Route 15 was necessary in order to incorporate a designated left turn lane. Installation of a signal at this location was at times controversial as this was the first traffic light installation in the town of Jericho. EIV staff provided a sympathetic and understanding ear to residents unsure of the coming change and diffused the mounting frustration of motorists traveling Route 15 throughout a summer of one-way alternating traffic patterns and the subsequent delays associated with this project.
