Project Overview:
EIV has provided resident engineering and material testing for this award-winning multi-use path along Burlington’s waterfront. The Burlington Greenway has been widened and re-aligned to better accommodate all users. This project includes over 4.5 miles of path upgrades, lighting improvements, sidewalk upgrades, pause places, and wayfinding signage.
Improvements along the Oakledge Park portion of the path included reconstruction and widening of the path, several alignment changes made in order to preserve trees, provide a gentler grade to accommodate all users, and to improve safety. Several features have also been added along this section including an exercise pad (which will be installed in 2022), a vendor pad, and an overhaul of the beach access at Flynn Avenue. EIV provided construction oversight, quality control and project management.
