Project Overview:
This $3M bridge replacement project was located in Highgate, VT over the Missisquoi River. The existing truss bridge was replaced with a 280-foot, two-span steel plate girder bridge with abutments and pier footings on bedrock. EIV provided Chief Inspection services for VTrans, and performed Quality Assurance and Acceptance functions onsite throughout the duration of the project. EIV staff was functional in ensuring that project elements were completed safely and according to project specifications.
