Project Overview:
The new City West building, an infill redevelopment project, is well under construction in Burlington, Vermont. This project is being developed by City Properties Real Estate Group and Dagesse Company and constructed by EIV Technical Services. This new six-story building will include 48 new homes, two floors of under-building parking and incredible lake and city views. Construction completion is expected early 2024.
Infill redevelopment takes small, urban land parcels and uses innovative design and construction techniques to increase density on site. This reduces the building footprint and minimizes urban sprawl. The previous use was a small vacant land lot. There will now be 48 apartment units serving a much greater number of residents in the city. Furthermore, this type of development promotes a walkable environment, use of public transportation and energy efficiency.
