Project Overview:
The new City West building, an infill redevelopment project located in Downtown Burlington, VT was completed in 2024. This project was developed by City Properties Real Estate Group and Dagesse Company and constructed by EIV Technical Services. This new six-story building included 48 new homes, two floors of under-building parking and incredible lake and city views.
Infill redevelopment takes small, urban land parcels and uses innovative design and construction techniques to increase density on site. This reduces the building footprint and minimizes urban sprawl. The previous use was a small vacant land lot. The 48 apartment units serve a much greater number of residents in the city. Furthermore, this type of development promotes a walkable environment, use of public transportation and energy efficiency.
